Location
Located at an altitude of 1,100 meters on the southern slope of the Chamonix Valley, Le Chalet extends over more than one hectare at the edge of the forest.
The Chalet has been designed for guests looking for wellbeing, relaxation and contemplation but also for those attracted by sporting conquests and the challenge of nature.
Spread over five floors, with no less than five large outdoor terraces, the property has twelve bedrooms comprising two master suites, and ten executive-level bedrooms. Every room has a balcony or terrace and features en-suite bathroom, smart TV, B&O Bluetooth music station and laptop safe. There’s also an additional studio taking the capacity to twenty-six people.
But it’s not just about the spectacular rooms. There’s something for everyone at Le Chalet including an indoor swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, gym, massage room, cinema and wine cellar.
On the outside the property is set amidst beautiful grounds where you will often see deer and chamois and if you’re lucky our resident marmots. There’s also a private stream with waterfall, beyond which is our helipad (Geneva to Le Chalet in 20mins).
Not forgetting our dedicated team of expert staff are on hand to cater for your every need.
About Us
From the severe mountain environment of Mont Blanc, an intimate dialogue was born between the forces of nature and your hosts, the Levenq family.
It was amidst the silence of the summits of Mont Blanc in 1925 that Nade and Henri, the grandparents of the owners, were brought together during an expedition climb. From this union was born the belief that humility was the shortest path to friendship. This philosophy found its roots on the south slope of the Valley of Chamonix, in the heart of a mountain pasture. Started whilst scaling the highest summit of the Alps, a majestic relationship that has lasted more than a century.
This mountain environment touches the soul and shapes the body. Whilst some may choose the thrill of speeding down the slopes, others decide to conquer the mountain by climbing the most inaccessible peaks. Regardless of the path taken, every journey leads to freedom and newfound respect for the mountain.
It was from this joy of nature and excitement that Le Chalet was born.
A place that is designed to remind you constantly of the simplicity of life. A journey through space and in time, a memory cherished for years. Today, it is with this in mind that I invite you to come and experience the adventure of Mont Blanc. Welcome to Le Chalet.
Laurent Levenq - "A property surrounded by nature and adventures."
Environmental Policy Statement
We, the team of Le Chalet, are on our way to become more sustainable with our decisions and practices every day and we encourage you to do the same!
We focus on local experience and consumption, environmentally friendly alternatives and quality.
- We do our best to limit packaging used, especially plastic, and as a result - waste generated;
- Specific packaging that we use, like coffee capsules, glass bottles, are returned right back to producers, where recycled;
- With waste that can not be limited, Le Chalet focuses on strict recycling policy with packaging/glass/organic waste collected separately;
- We use eco-friendly cleaning products that are produced in France and choose recycled and reusable materials for taking care of our chalet;
- Le Chalet is equipped with energy saving light bulbs and receives plenty of sunlight during the day;
- We support eco-certified products and local producers, while taking care of our guests.
Le Chalet's farm to table ethos provides honey from our on site bee hive, cheese and meat come from local farms, all vegetables are organic and we only use sustainably sourced seafood and fish. Coupled with our strict policies of recycling policy, limited use of disposal plastics all helping to maintain a very low carbon footprint.
It is just the beginning of our journey with sustainable practices, but we are excited to be a part of the change we want to see in the World! We are always happy to share ideas and discuss sustainability and the environment with you!
